Hello Wildcat Pride Families and Students,

As we officially wrap up our 2026 marching band season, I want to take a moment to reflect on everything this group has accomplished and, more importantly, recognize the growth we have made along the way.

This season challenged us in many ways. We worked through demanding rehearsals, adjusted to changes, learned challenging music and drill, and continued to push ourselves toward a common goal. Throughout the season, I saw growth in our musicianship, marching fundamentals, confidence, teamwork, and ability to perform together as one group. That growth did not happen overnight. It came from showing up, putting in the work, learning from our mistakes, and continuing to improve even when things were difficult.

I am proud of the progress this band has made. We have developed as performers, but we have also grown in our ability to work together, support one another, and represent Eureka High School. Every rehearsal, football game, parade, and competition contributed to that progress. While there will always be things we can improve, we should recognize how far we have come and use that progress as motivation for what comes next.

The end of marching season is not the end of our momentum. It is the foundation for what comes next.

As we transition into our concert season, I want us to carry the same work ethic, positive attitude, preparation, and commitment into our daily rehearsals. The skills we developed on the field should continue to show up in the band room. Our next opportunity to grow is already here, and the habits we establish now will directly impact our success throughout the remainder of the school year.

Thank you to our students for the time, effort, and dedication you put into this season. Thank you to our families for supporting our students, helping with the many moving parts of the season, and encouraging them through the challenges. A successful program takes the commitment of many people, and I appreciate everyone who helped make this season possible.

Thank you again for a great marching band season. I am excited about what this group can continue to accomplish, and I look forward to seeing our students build on the foundation they have established.

Let's keep moving forward, continue challenging ourselves, and make the most of the opportunities ahead.

25th Annual Craft Fair - This fundraiser is historically the largest fundraiser for the EHS band program. It is Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 9-4pm. Vendor spaces are sold out! If you have questions about the vendor fair, please email: ehscraftfair@gmail.com. Volunteers will be needed to ensure the event runs as smooth as possible. Be on the lookout for those opportunities soon!
